U3A Roseland and District

In common with all U3As, we are set up as a charity run by our members, for our members.

Our Constitution sets out in detail the basis under which we will operate together with the responsibilities and obligations we will fulfil.

Each of our specific activity groups is led by a Group Leader who is themself one of our members and will organise, lead and support the members of that group in pursuit of their chosen common interest.

Since we are a fairly new U3A, we have a number of roles which are available to our members to help make us more effective. We have included details in Vacancies

We will undertake various Fundraising activities to supplement the income raised through membership subscriptions so that these are kept at an affordable level.

We hold our Annual General Meeting in May when Officers and Committee members are elected to take on the roles needed to ensure the organisation is run effectively and to plan for the future.

Minutes will be kept of all formal meetings to record the matters discussed and decisions taken. A copy of those minutes will be posted on this site once they have been approved by the next meeting.
