Subscription

The current annual subscription is £15 per person, which equates to 29p per week. That includes a charge of £2.50 per member paid to the national Third Age Trust at the end of each year to give us access to the substantial additional resources which they provide. We can't think of anything else costing so little that offers so much. It entitles you to attend all our meetings and group activities, receive our monthly newsletter and have the national U3A News magazine delivered to your home 4 times a year.

Our subscription year runs from April and we have a sliding scale of payments for new members joining us later in the year as follows:

And since HM Revenue & Customs have confirmed that our subscription is eligible for Gift Aid, UK tax payers have the opportunity to increase the value by up to another £4.20. There's a Declaration included with our enrolment form for use if appropriate.

Enrolment

Once you've made you mind up to join (one of the best decisions you'll have made), you can either wait for us to send you an enrolment form or click on the Enrolment Form button to download a version in Word which you can save or print off to complete and return or bring to one of our regular meetings.

Online Enrolment

If you use Internet or Telephone Banking, you can complete your enrolment using our online form. We will email you with details of our bank account and confirm the amount of the subscription due so that you can make payment direct. Click here for more details.
